MYSURFARI

Surfrider's Guerilla Warfare

Recently, Surfrider Foundation collected trash on the beach, repackaged it as seafood and put it on display in local markets.  Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit that is "dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education."

More images after the jump.

On Saturday, in honor of International Surf Day, the First Coast Surfrider chapter collected trash in Neptune and Jax Beach (Florida).  I think I heard that something like 200lbs of trash and garbage was collected.  If you know the exact amount, feel free to post it in comments. Afterwards everyone went to the Landshark Cafe in Jax Beach and partied with MYSURFARI and their friends.
